In the circuit shown in Figure 43-03.1, determine values for R1 , R2 and R3
so that the amplifier presents a gain equal to 10 V.
Solution of the Problem 43-3
Based on what was studied in the theoretical part, we know that the amplifier gain is given by:
This way, to achieve a gain equal to 10, let's do R1 = 10 kΩ
and R2 = 1 kΩ
On the other hand, we know that the value R3 is given by:
Therefore, if Vi = 1 V and the cursor of Paj is at ground, the voltage of output will be - 10 V. If the cursor
is positioned at the top of Paj, then the circuit will behave like a non-inverting amplifier and its output
will be equal to + 10 V.
